Tehran, May 2, IRNA � Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari vigorously condemned the suicide terrorist attacks against civilian targets in the cities of Tartus and Jabal in Syria.


He voiced sympathy with the families of the victims as well as the Syrian government over the terrorist operation during which a number of civilians either lost their lives or were wounded.

The spokesman said terrorism and extremism posed serious threats to regional nations and endangered global peace and security.

Ansari further urged the international community to act according to its legal and ethical responsibilities in confronting this evil and non-human phenomenon.
